ED 307 post 6- ideas about how to help students from low-income families through the use of technology

- allow these students to go to computer lab to complete all lessons online and if student is still in computer lab working on assignments, use a video session with instructions to the student on how to access it.
- spend extra time with the student helping them to understand content, whether using technology or not and encourage them to take advantage of any help they have available.
-give them typed out copies of lessons if needed
- encourage group work and peer collaboration on lessons as much as possible
- give them an alternative method for turning in assignments(if needed) if they are unable to do the assignment due to the fact that their family can't afford materials.
- encourage the student to ask for help if needed
-allow them more time using technology if needed to complete assignments
