how can problem-solving instead of harsh disciplinary measures be implemented in classrooms?

1- Talk to the student who is exhibiting problem behaviors and figure out what it going on with why the student is acting in a certain way and find a solution before resorting to discipline.
2- Get outside help if the problem requires doing more than what a teacher/administrator can help with
3- Enable students and encourage them to improve themselves daily
4-Provide extensive citizenship training in schools (with programs like character education) that helps them learn what's right and what's wrong.
5- Always be vigilent to any signs of problems
6-Teachers can look back at the students' previous performances
7- Give assessments/evaluations of each student and figure out what needs to be worked on through them.

Ways to not leave students behind

1- use sign-up sheets every day for those who didn't understand the days' lecture or assignments for one-on-one instruction with the teacher
2- have each student discuss the lesson in review in class for exams
3- read in class with students either using a cd player or your own voice with your head in the book
4- have daily activities for students to complete with each day's lesson

About educational planning

I think education should be:
1) tailored to each students' needs, preferences and interests
2) should give students a personalized to each student curriculum that prepares them for what they plan to do in the future right from the day they start kindergarten.
3) never leave students behind
4)focused on problem-solving measures instead of harsh disciplinary measures when students exhibit problem behaviors.
5) hands-on learning should be used because it gives students training for real-world experiences and gives them valuable skills practice they will use in their future careers
